Dec 02,  · There isn't much to say here except that all of the other Punk-O-Rama CDs leaned towards either hardcore or something different. This is pure punk rock, and can be listened to the whold way through without changing tracks. It has NoFX, Pennywise, Ten Foot Pole, Down By Law, Rancid, Bad Religion, and two classic Offspring cuts/5(22).

I own Punk O Rama 1, 3, and 5, and out of the three, this CD is by far the best. It has the most recent and varied offerings of American punk music, with punk veterans like Rancid and newer, fresher voices - they are all great, especially Agnostic Front (New York, baby /5(33).

The newest Punk-O-Rama compilation, volume 8, is about as good as volume 7 was. Volume 8 contains punk favorites such as "The Distilers, Rancid, The Bouncing Souls, NOFX, Bad Religion, The (International) Noise Conspiracy, Death By Stereo, Pennywise, Dropkick Murphs, & Mellencolin/5(25).

Released in , Punk-O-Rama, Vol. 5 is no exception. Not everything on this song CD is a masterpiece, but most of the material is decent. Like other Punk-O-Rama discs, Vol. 5 does not cater to punk purists percent of the time.6/
